Development of the Suspensions of a 5-door Sedan

This project aims to make a development of the suspensions components of a car. In order to do this, we will use a four wheels car model. To simplify the car study, we will just focus on the vertical movements of the system (which are dominating for the previous requirements).

The main goal was to determine the set of physical parameters that forms the suspensions.

Requirements:

  • The stiffness of the front and back springs
  • The damping coefficient of front and back dampers
  • The torsional stiffness of the front and back anti-roll bars. (not required for this project)
